This program covers the basics of program monitoring and evaluation, defines common terms and discusses why M&E is essential for program management. In addition, it deals with performance monitoring, performance evaluation as well as fundamentals of impact evaluation.
GRADUATE PROFILE
At the end of the program, the graduate should have the following:
- Good understanding of M&E work environment in the project management complexity;
- Technical know-how on setting up and maintaining an effective M&E system;
- Ability to go through the sampling process using Excel, survey design and data collection using modern technologies such as Open Data Kit (ODK);
- Hands-on skills of using Excel to summarize and visualize data, and to statistically validate hypotheses and conclusions;
- Hands-on skills on creating M&E Dashboards including google maps using Power BI
- Hands-on experience through an internship project
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
The prospective trainee/student should fulfil the following requirements:
- Having successfully completed at least 3 years of undergraduate studies but the certificate will be awarded upon presentation of the Bachelor’s Degree
- being already involved in M&E or aspiring to work as an M&E professional
