Qualitative Analysis (QLA)-II

This allows to have greater contextual understanding of the program the M&E professional is working with. Qualitative data also helps him/her understand the stories of the people behind larger data sets. It’s always important to remember that there are people behind the data sets being analyzed.

As far as qualitative data collection is concerned, the expert should excel in the following skills: observation, questioning, listening and communicating. In addition, either Kobo Toolbox or ODK/SurveyCTO software is recommended.
