ADVANCED MEL PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION – LEVEL II

This program builds on the monitoring and evaluation professional training program to provide trainees with advanced knowledge and skills. In addition, it offers opportunities for statistical analysis using most performing packages such as Stata. 

Graduate profile

At the end of the program, the graduate should have the following:

  • Knowledge and skills from Level 1;
  • Statistical knowledge and skills in using Stata;
  • Ability to statistically handle missing values;
  • Good understanding of statistical assumptions and data distributions;
  • Hands-on skills related to model development, adequacy checking, interpretation and forecasting;
  • Sound understanding and practical knowledge of qualitative methods
  • Hands-on experience through an internship project

Entry requirements

The prospective trainee/student should fulfil the following requirements:

  • Basic knowledge in quantitative methods
  • Familiar with at least one data processing package such as Stata, Excel, etc.
  • Under graduate level in economics, statistics, mathematics, development or social sciences
  • Proven skills of the basic M&E Professional training
