AUTHORIZED TRAINING CONSULTANTS: ROLES AND EXPECTATIONS

DESCRIPTION OF AUTHORIZED TRAINING CONSULTANTS

  1. Those are independent consultants (individuals or organizations) with experience in providing professional training in MEL area
  2. In strict compliance of the HOREX curriculum and training modalities, they will provide training, coaching and mentoring services to candidates officially registered by HOREX and who intend to sit for professional exams organized in the framework of HOREX MEL Professional Training Program.

SELECTION PROCESS AND THE TERM OF THE ATCs

  • A competitive selection of ATCs is informed by the need to have a diverse and competent team with quantitative and qualitative methods applied in the project/program Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning. The team should include members specialized in geo-spatial analysis, survival analysis, data mining, big data analytics as well as project/program performance, impact and efficiency evaluations.
  • Once selected, they will be given an annually renewable authorization to train, coach and mentor candidates of the HOEREX MEL Professional Training program.
  • An ATC member cannot be a member of the TAB and CED Board.

EXPECTATIONS

  • Following the guidance provided by HOREX, ATCs will develop their training modules, get them approved by the MEL Professional Training Program management, and ensure their effective delivery.
  • They will follow exam and assessment calendars developed by the Curriculum and Exam Development Board.
  • They will act with integrity and professionalism in their duties.
  • They will collaborate with Program Director, ATCs and Quality Compliance Officer in carrying out their duties. More importantly, they will facilitate CED Board and/or Quality Compliance Officer in their routine monitoring of the training process and methodology
  • They will also participate in the project presentations done in the framework of the internship projects (capstone courses) and be part of the panels that will evaluate the performance of the candidates.
  • As a contribution to the monitoring and technical support, ATCs will pay a agreed-upon lumpsum to HOREX per each delivered course.
  • Apart from matters defined in the signed contract, ATCs work independently of any influence from HOREX.

BENEFITS

  1. The names of the ATCs will be put in the HOREX Website and reviewed on annual basis.
  2.  Their remunerations will be determined through a private negotiation between ATCs and trainees; thus, outside the contract jointly signed with HOREX. However, HOREX reserves the right to fix the maximum training amount charged to trainees.
  3. ATC training modules will be reviewed and approved by the HOREX.
  4. Being an ATC will enhance his/her profile and visibility while being involved in the MEL Professional Training program.
