Our program offers three levels of professional certificates:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"1\">\n<li>MEL Professional (Fundamental Level-1) &#8211; Ideal for beginners<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advanced MEL Professional (Advanced Level-2) &#8211; Suitable for intermediate learners<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Evaluation Researcher (Expert Level-3) &#8211; Tailored for advanced practitioners<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udf1f <strong>AIMS OF MEL CERTIFICATION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our MEL certification aims to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Improve skills in project design and management with a focus on monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build rigorous research and analytical capacities related to socio-program evaluation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enhance job opportunities for MEL professionals through advanced certification.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Introduce and integrate data science techniques for evidence-based decision-making in the field of monitoring and evaluation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open to individuals from any sector, fostering a diverse community of MEL professionals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udf10 <strong>OPERATIONAL STRATEGY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The MEL CDP has a structured organizational framework, including the MEL CDP Management team, Curriculum &amp; Exam Development (CED) Board, and Authorized Training Consultants (ATC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udcda <strong>GRADUATE PROFILES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upon completion of the program, graduates will possess:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MEL FUNDAMENTAL LEVEL (13 courses):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Good understanding of the MEL work environment in project management complexity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Technical know-how on setting up and maintaining an effective M&amp;E system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to go through the sampling process, survey design, and data collection using modern technologies such as Kobo ToolBox, SurveyCTO, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to statistically handle missing values and calculate sample weights.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hands-on skills using Excel to summarize and visualize data and statistically validate hypotheses and conclusions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hands-on skills on creating MEL Dashboards, including Google Maps, using Power BI.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Understanding of qualitative designs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hands-on experience in developing an operational MEL system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MEL ADVANCED LEVEL (10 courses):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Knowledge and skills from the Fundamental level.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Statistical knowledge and skills using Stata.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good understanding of statistical assumptions and different data distributions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hands-on skills related to developing regression models fitting different circumstances and conditions, adequacy checking, and interpretation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Qualitative data collection and analysis using qualitative software such as NVivo.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hands-on experience through an evaluation project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EXPERT LEVEL (8 courses):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Knowledge and skills from Fundamental and Advanced levels.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Statistical knowledge and skills in using R.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Practical knowledge of data mining strategies to represent big data in reduced dimensions for program analysis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to use R for GIS and skills for spatial analysis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good understanding of data science and opportunities for leveraging big data in MEL activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Specialization in Impact Evaluation, Performance analysis, or efficiency analysis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hands-on experience through an evaluation project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udce2 <strong>DETAILS OF THE CALL FOR APPLICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>HOREX LTD is delighted to announce the reopening of its professional training activities post-COVID-19.
